Mmmmm. These pictures are lovely and the food looks simply delicious. And I’m with Anne on the heirloom tomatoes. Been there, ate that.

Again, great photos! Just may have to take a drive out to Princeton soon.

I once worked under Chef Rob Ubhaus during his last days at Crystal Springs Golf resort. I am looking foward to indulging in his talents and knowledge as i go visit Resto and/or Rob’s Bistro..Being I am still in the food industry as a Line Cook I am interested to see more of Chef Rob’s talents in more dishes.

I love Rob’s Bistro. In many ways it reminds me of A Toute Heure in Cranford. The waitstaff never fails to please, they know the demands my wife and mom-in-law put on a kitchen. A Toute Heure was equally able to please them.

Rob’s uses the best ingredients in portions not overwhelming to the diner. The byob policy also charms!

I am happy to say that Rob’s is a little bit of Balthazar in Madison, NJ.

Really interesting flavor combo – lemon and basil sound delicious together and totally refreshing!
I’ve had basil ice cream at Out The Door in SF. I was skeptical at first, but then I couldn’t get enough. Thanks for sharing!
